What is ZlideOn?
ZlideOn is a patented Swedish innovation that repairs broken zippers by replacing the slider — not the entire zipper. No sewing is required. Just remove the old slider, clip on your ZlideOn, and the zipper works again in seconds.
How does ZlideOn work?
ZlideOn sliders open and close using a patented hinge mechanism. You simply snap the slider onto the zipper chain and close it — restoring the functionality of the zipper without tools or sewing.
Which zippers can ZlideOn repair?
ZlideOn offers a wide range of sliders that work on:
- Metal zippers
- Plastic zippers
- Coil zippers
- Invisible zippers
- Waterproof / outdoor zippers
There are options for clothing, bags, tents, boots, outdoor gear, and more.
How do I choose the right size?
Match your ZlideOn to the size of your existing zipper by:
- Measuring the width of the zipper teeth/coil.
- Checking the number printed on the back of your current slider (e.g., 3, 5, 7, 10).
- Using the ZlideOn size guide to pick the right variant.
If you’re unsure, a multipack is recommended.
Is installation difficult?
Not at all. No sewing is required.
- Remove the old slider.
- Open the ZlideOn slider.
- Clip it onto the zipper.
- Press to close.
Your zipper is repaired in minutes.
What if my zipper has a stopper?
Place the ZlideOn on the side of the zipper with the larger part of the stopper.
If the zipper is open, cross the sides slightly, attach the slider, and zip up 10 cm the first time to align it.
Does ZlideOn work if the zipper teeth are damaged?
ZlideOn works when the slider is worn, loose, or broken. If the teeth or fabric tape are damaged, the zipper may not be repairable — but in most cases, the slider is the problem.
What items can I repair with ZlideOn?
Almost any item with a zipper, including:
- Jackets & coats
- Bags & backpacks
- Boots
- Outdoor & camping gear
- Kids’ clothing
- Tents & sleeping bags
- Workwear and uniforms
ZlideOn is even used by military and emergency services.
Why should I repair instead of replacing?
Repairing with ZlideOn saves time, money, and reduces environmental waste.
Fixing a zipper instead of replacing an item can save significant CO₂ emissions and water, making it an extremely eco-friendly choice.
What materials are ZlideOn sliders made from?
ZlideOn sliders are made of high-quality zinc and steel for durability and long service life. All products are manufactured to strict European quality standards.
